January- Burt's Bees, NYC cosmetics, and hoarding.

I randomly went into Rite Aid awhile back and saw they had a ton of stuff on clearance. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a ton of make up on clearance. The usual buy one get one free on certain brands. After carefully browsing I saw that a few items of Burt's bee was up to 75% percent off!!! If you know me, you know I am utterly obsessed with Burt's bees!  On different trips I got a Lip tint and Lip gloss for 1.89 each and a lip balm for .89!!!!! Which is bad ass because the lip gloss and tint are priced really high at Rite Aid, normally 7.29.

Also on a different trip I snagged eyeliners and nail polish from New York Color normally 99¢ for 33¢ each!! Which is awesome because I really needed white eyeliner! The taupe shade is okay, it doesn't really show up very well on my skin tone. I was trying to go for a nude eye look, and it just didn't work out to well. I'm not sure if it's because of the eye-shadow primer I use or not.

Apparently drug stores are always have their make-up on crazy discounted prices! I'm pretty bummed out that I am moving soon. Other wise I'd be stalking that store's life for more makeup deals. Maybe that's a good thing. I need to stop hoarding shit. I just cleaned out my pantry and realized I had a ton of Kcups and Tea. Good thing I did that, because I was seriously considering buying more Kcups, and those little shits are expensive. Don't know how I managed to accumulate that much. Lol

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum

The sample I received of  Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum from influenster was fairly decent. I have extremely sensitive skin and break out pretty easy. I am always hesitant to use new products when it comes to my face.

I was impressed with it at first, but then slowly started to break out. My face got all red and burned a little bit. The instructions tell you to use if twice a day, I would recommend that if you have sensitive skin like mines, that you use it once to every other day.

The results were awesome. My skin was noticeably clear and softer. I would recommend this to everyone. My only advice, other than use it less, it to wear a good SPF with it.  It's a little pricey, but it's not as expensive as products you see in sephora or influenster. Target.com tends to have it on sale, so keep your eyes peeled!

NYC New York Color

NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Color:

The Expert Last Lipsticks is a moisturizing, high-pigmented, long-lasting lip color & available in 20 shades.  The lipstick is comfortable and longwearing, it stays on up to 6 hours. I got the lipstick complimentary from Influenster for testing in the Sugar Plum shade, which I am absolutely in love with! I love how soft and natural the shade looks.

You can pretty much find any NYC New York Color at any Target, Walmart, and drugstore! I have always been a fan of their eyeliners and nail polish!

Rimmel

In this post I will be reviewing both Rimmel products that came in the Frosty Voxbox from Influenster!! I have received these products for complimentary testing purposes.

ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner:

Happy to include the ScandalEyes eye liner to the collection!!

Has long lasting shocking color intensity with kohl Britania High intensity color for an instant color impact. Dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested.  Safe for sensitive eyes.

Pros: It's thick, creamy, and glides on easy. Perfect for the smokey eye look! It's long lasting and water proof!

Cons: Absolutely a pain in the ass to remove & It smudges easily. The eye makeup remover didn't do a good job removing it. Even had a hard time cleaning it off with soap and warm water. If you have oily skin (like me) I'd suggest you use an eye shadow primer before applying. It will easily run and smudge; giving you the dreaded raccoon look.

Rimmel  gentle eye makeup remover:

The remover is designed to gently remove all eye makeup, including long-lasting and waterproof formulas. This product will not sting or irritate eyes and can even be used by individuals who may have sensitive eyes or use contact lenses.

Pros: It did an awesome job removing all my eye makeup, including waterproof mascara.

Cons: It didn't do a good job removing the ScandalEyes eyeliner. Lol. It's okay though, there really isn't anything negative about it.
